Thank you for using Alliance Shield X by RRiVEN LLC ("company", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. When you visit our mobile application, and use our services, you trust us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy notice, we describe our privacy policy. We seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. We hope you take some time to read through it carefully, as it is important. If there are any terms in this privacy policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our Apps and our services.

This privacy policy applies to all information collected through our mobile application, ("Apps"), and/or any related services ("Sites").

We have opted for a different style of privacy policy and hope this will help explain what and why information is collected.

We have never: sold, transferred, leased, rented, or gave any information that we collected to any third party.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Our servers are configured with the default or standard logging. This means when you connect via the app or site the following is logged.

You can see the user-agent contains a lot of information. The information in the user-agent is not configured by us, your device gives that information to ANY website you visit, not just ours. We also store the Country Code given to us by Cloudflare. In this example it would be US for United States.

In our effort to prevent fraud and misuse of the app we also collect some information from your SIM card. We realize that this data can be sensitive and are exploring ways to hash, or make the data unreadable, but still useful to us.

If you have the track my device OR remote wipe features turned on, then geo-location data will be logged. NO data is logged if the features are left turned off.

To manage the firewall and other advanced aspects of your device we also have access to the Knox firewall data on your device for Samsung Devices. If you have root then we need to access to iptables.

We do NOT request any storage permissions, however, for configuration import you can load a file into the app. The file contents are not directly uploaded to our servers. Instead, your device is configured and the settings with their values are uploaded.

We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the mobile application. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.

When you view app details in the App Manager the app name is sent along with your username to check for updated information and app developer

HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

We need this data to facilitate the login and remote management features of your devices.

We also use the data to see what devices are using the app so we can ensure all features work and no bugs are present.

Country information is to ensure we have the app translated into the languages it is being used the most.

Bragging rights. We like to tell people that the Alliance Shieldx has been installed 148,554 times on 1,605 different Android models across 140 Countries. (Real stats I pulled Aug 15, 2021). We also use the stats in our Corporate Sales Pitch

The app names are used to retreive information about the app and the developer. Trusted volunteers help input the app information BUT they are not shown the requesting username. That is stored to monitor for abuse of the system

WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?

Not if we can help it, so try not to break the law. If a valid court order is given to us, we will comply.

We have never: sold, transferred, leased, rented, or gave any information that we collected to any third party.

If we sell the Shieldx to another business, we will attempt to notify you first and give you option to purge your data.

If you give your consent, then we will share your data. (has not happened yet just throwing this one in here)

We do use Cloudflare, along with Crashlytics and Analytics from Firebase.

HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

The app and sites use industry standard TLS security along with Cloudflare for extra security. We also have access lists and logging of all moderator actions. While nothing is 100% secure, we try to keep it secure as possible.

DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Apps, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Apps. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS POLICY?

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this privacy policy frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
